Her marathon in ministry began as an 8 year old walking the preschool wing of her childhood church in Colorado where Jesus opened her eyes to see children the way He sees them. She served her local communities, while taking faithful steps of obedience in volunteer ministry outside of her home. Inside, she was committed to her first kids ministry- home educating her daughters. These years of training prepared her for the transition into vocational ministry eleven years ago. She is an alumni of the INCM/Bethel Seminary partnership of the Engage Certificate in both Children’s Ministry and Pastoral Care, has her Masters in Religious Arts in Early Childhood Education, is a speaker and writer. As an INCM Certified Coach she is passionate about empowering other children’s ministry leaders to follow God’s calling on their lives.
Kim enjoys classes that continue her education, enhance her creativity, and grow her spiritually. Exploring her hometown like a tourist is her favorite way to find the best Mexican food, coffee shops and thrift stores. You’ll often hear her say, “If you don’t like glitter, you might be bitter” because she leaves a little sparkle everywhere she goes.
